That means that if you want your business to succeed online, you need to rank on Google. And if you’re not ranking on Google (and other local search engines), then you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to grow your salon or training academy locally.

Certify your business.

Getting your business listed on Google can be a great way to get more customers. If you don’t have a website, or if people are having trouble finding your business online, this article can help you make sure that you’re doing everything possible to show up in search results.

To get started, open a new browser tab and type “certify” into the search bar. You’ll see an option called “Add or Claim Business.” Click on it and fill out the form with your information. Once you’ve done that, go back into the same browser tab and click on “Verify This Business,” which will take you to a page where Google will ask for some additional information about your location (address) and contact information for someone who works at the location (phone number). It’s important that whoever answers these questions is accurate because they represent how customers will find out about what’s going on at this address—and if those details aren’t right there’s no guarantee that anyone would ever find out about it! After filling out all of these fields successfully, click “Verify” at bottom right corner of screen.

Organise images and your business description.

You can include information like the hours of operation, a description of what you do and/or sell, and even links to other websites where customers can get more information about you. A Google My Business page is also helpful for when people search for your company online; they’ll be able to see all of this information on their search results page.

Google will ask some questions about your business when creating a Google My Business page so that it knows how to categorize it appropriately in its database. You don’t have to worry too much about filling out these fields—just give them as much detail as possible so that Google can classify your company properly!

Write a good title and description.

The title and description are the first thing that people see when they search for your business. They’re also the best way to help them find you. When writing a title and description, remember:

  • The title should be short, clear, and memorable. It’s also important to include keywords in your title so that people can find it when they search. For example, if your business is called “My Local Plumber,” then write something like “Plumber” or “Local Plumber.”

  • The description should be longer than the title and is where you’ll go into more detail about what your business offers. It’s also a good idea to use keywords throughout this section to help people find you when they search for relevant terms on Google Maps or Google Search (such as “plumbers near me”).

Track and monitor your local website traffic.

As you know, Google Analytics is a powerful tool that enables you to track your website traffic by taking advantage of its extensive data collection capabilities.

If you’re not familiar with it, Google Analytics is a free tool that allows you to track user activity on your site (how many people visit it, what they do when they get there), as well as the sources and campaigns that send users to your site (like social media posts or PPC ads). It also offers insights into their behavior once they arrive at the site.
